“Because we're a Google Cloud customer, we initially started with Gemini. But most of the team preferred Claude or ChatGPT, and we never really understood why. Eclipse gave us that clarity by interviewing everyone on the team with a voice AI agent.
That was really refreshing because the other AI vendors we had spoken with typically only interviewed leadership and extrapolated from there.
What we learned from Eclipse is that you really need to understand the details from the people actually doing the work. They know exactly which workflows should be automated and which AI tools should be adopted and standardized across teams.”
The problem
At this hardware company, the roughly 90-person team had no real AI strategy. A large, well-known AI assistant was the company's official, sanctioned enterprise rollout, but it was widely disliked internally, while employees across the company had quietly adopted their own personal AI tools to get work done, with no governance and no visibility for leadership into what was actually being used or how. Meanwhile, plainly repetitive work went unaddressed: the company's weekly leadership report was compiled entirely by hand every Friday, pulled together manually from calendar entries, email threads, Slack messages, and Asana tickets.
The solution
Eclipse ran a three-phase engagement for the company. Discovery combined structured interviews with the company's leadership team and a custom voice AI agent built to reach the rest of the company, surfacing what tools people were actually using and where real automation potential lived. That rolled into hands-on training for the team, run alongside a handful of automations built, tested, and put into daily use — the flagship being the Friday leadership report, now pulled together automatically from calendar, email, Slack, and Asana through Claude.
The impact
The Friday leadership report, once hours of manual compilation across four different tools every week, now runs as an automated Claude workflow. Employees who had been improvising with ungoverned personal AI tools now have one sanctioned, well-understood way to use Claude for their daily work, closing the gap between widespread informal AI use and having no official strategy at all.
